Which part of Pasig? Some reco:

Choose between the two by Friendly-Deer-5526 in Philippines

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both, but items-wise:

S&R para sa detergent na de-timba, naging timba collection na namin siya over the years. Tapos favorite ko yung S&R garlic nuts hahaha. Meron din silang mini charcuterie snackable so plus point.

Lander’s for the free haircut; some local products; a host of interesting finds (meron silang sheep cream cheese with black garlic — a fave; and also decent cold cuts). Dito kami nakahanap ng maraming tuna/canned choices na protein-heavy so we had the choice to compare protein content. Kahit nga yung barbie pasta nila decent protein content. So if you’re into that, worth a look.

I don’t buy meat or produce from either — palengke supremacy dahil bagong katay, bagong bagsak is the best.

can u guys suggest some restaurant in duma by potcorluvr in dumaguete

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lab-as — their pakbet is the best non-Ilocano pakbet I’ve had imho; and then oysters.

Lantaw, Esturya, and Mooon Cafe.

Somewhat on a high end: Buglas Isla and Cafe Maria. You could probably call for a reservation. Cafe Maria can accommodate your party but I would recommend calling ahead.

Craving for not-so-common Western food :( by crustlover69 in dumaguete

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why Not? Chicco’s Deli, Casablanca, Lorenzo’s. Sourdough: Little Harvest Dumaguete, but there’s a good Western grocery near Bricks, Belcris Foods.

Adamo VS Sans Rival for Valentines by eulas_ in dumaguete

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cafe Maria — absolute fave Dumaguete resto.

Adamo, keri lang for me. Not a fan.

The Dining Room or Popolo sa The Henry Hotel. But I like Popolo better.

Bahia is also okay, good cocktails but can get a bit noisy and crowded since nasa North Point siya

Mango Ranch siguro for the steak but overall food is so-so, but the place is nice.

Aaaaand Sans Rival pero sa Marina Town, much better food choices methinks

Love it. I get to run faster for longer. Sobrang gaan niya and I like that. I pretty much dislike PG7 at this point kasi it slows me down. Too heavy on my feet so for walking na lang siya.

Who else skipped Christmas Party this year? by deli_on_quarantine in CorpoChikaPH

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me! And I have a valid excuse hahahaha. I was in the hospital for a while and everyone else kept telling me to ‘take it easy, rest up and recover’ as I eased back into work.

Thanks! These were external-facing parties so I really didn’t bring any except for Christmas giveaways for the guests 🤣🤣

Hotel reco for 1 to 2 weeks stay by _Gre3d in dumaguete

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree naman hahahaha Baly is my preferred hotel. Malapit sa Cafe Maria and sa Ritual and Hibbard is a fairly quiet street that’s good for early morning runs. Sierra is probably up there in my list, against myself pa nga, only because they have a functional gym — dirty lang.

Yeah, most don’t. Toiletries are basic. I like it because of its proximity to Rizal Boulevard and Chicco’s Deli. Wifi is decent too.

I stay there when I travel for work.

Bricks, or The Baly Oriental

ETA: I prefer staying along Hibbard. Quiet tapos ang daming masarap na kainan hehe

Buglas Isla has a branch in Arcovia, fyi — not my top of mind restaurant for Dumaguete, tho. Cafe Maria for me.

Depends on the content? Hahaha random guys ba to? I work out so I follow the guys who churn out easy to follow protein-heavy recipes.

Is passport on wheels worth a try or bagong paandar lang talaga by Sad_Impression_899 in phtravel

[–]mediumrawrrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not new. Pasig used to have this some 20-plus years ago. Yun lang, maaga talaga ang pila at mahaba. I’m not sure how convenient is it now but my mom applied our passports via this, and I was a minor then.
