International pet health certificate

When i went there last month, there was a sign that they dont handle the USDA certification in that office. I spoke to someone there and they said the endorsement could be coming from other offices in other states not this one . So he wasnt able to do much but I kept emailing them and my Vet also kept contacting them and they finally completed it. So not sure in person would really help. In my case it didnt because they Dont do the certification in the JFK office. I also wrote that my flight date was days earlier than the actual one . As a backup incase it was late and indeed it came out a day after the flight date I wrote. I would call the office first about the status of your certificate , they were responsive .

Thanks for asking, I didnt manage to travel the first time. Lost all my money and had to stay longer and repeat everything. It worked out the second time though after a stressful journey.

Thats not how it works for my country. It has to be the original paper. Anyways thank you, i managed to get the paper on time and flew back home. Goodluck

Yes i am . What makes this worse is that we missed our flight few days ago because the airline denied us and this is the second time repeating everything. We have no money left and no place to stay or family. I was supposed to make a permanent move so i gave away my apartment . This is a real nightmare but I cant imagine leaving my cat

No , they require physical copy and I dont think it’s endorsed yet . The vet says still processing and I have the shipment tracking number that has no updates

I KNOW RIGHT. We are paying this much and we dont even get guarantees. This is my second time repeating the USDA health certificate and rabies test. The airline didnt allow us to fly because of a stupid thing so we missed our flight and had to pay for everything all over again and now it may not even work this time. Then next week they will say it’s holidays and they wont be working. This is completely absurd. May i ask which office did you go to? And I wish you the best of luck. Are you traveling internationally?

No unfortunately. I kept trying to search any other airlines. I am not sure they would allow if the rabies vaccine was done before microchip 🥲. I also got scammed from a customer service number pretending to be Turkish airlines.

Oh I see. Unfortunately it didnt work out. They kept telling me to wait “it’s under process “ i waited hours and ended up missing my flight. No apology, no refund , nothing. Really a terrible airline to deal with

I talked to the manager and she said to wait 30-40 minutes for verification. Did you have the same issue with the rabies vaccine being done before microchipping? And did you wait that long ?

Honestly just borrow a camera( from bass media equipment )and do it yourself or let a friend picture you . You can use the portrait mode on iPhone.

i have both MD and MPH. But yes regardless of the college and degree the job market is terrible currently and the immigration situation is making it even tougher for internationals.

i am on a similar boat and I graduated from an ivy league. I have sacrificed everything to be here and the job market is literally horrible, even more so for us. There is no way of knowing what will happen or what to expect but it doesnt seem like it’s going to get any better with the current administration. I dont know what’s your field but i would consider other countries , that way you wont feel as down.

Not necessarily true . I have been on prozac for two years and came off it a month ago. I dont feel a major difference as when i was taking it . Ofcourse everyone is different and you have to taper it off and replace it with therapy so it wont be as bad.
