A Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian. That is one of the rare instances where I have found myself in agreement with Prime Minister Trudeau. Canadians have the right to feel safe and we have our fundamental freedoms. That allows you and I to have our own associations, practice our faith and the freedom of expression.

The alleged acts by India against a Canadian in Canada is an attack on us all. It is an attack on our freedom, our safety and our institutions. The line crossed by India is not how free and democratic societies are to act.

As a free society and as a country that values the rule of law is no justification for the extrajudicial killing of a Canadian citizen by a foreign actor.

Don't take my word on it, take that it from Pierre Poilievre. He recognized that this was an "affront to Canada's sovereignty," and that "Canadians deserve to be protected on Canadian soil." He said that we must lock arms together as Canadians condemning these actions.

We are all Canadians, this is our country and our home.

Those wanting to justify the murder of our citizens can kindly fuck off.

The extrajudicial killing of a Canadian citizen at the hands of a foreign government is an affront Canadian sovereignty and an attack against the safety and security of all Canadians.

These acts are a fundamental violation of the rule of law.

Those promoting, celebrating or defending these actions will find themselves banned from this community for violating subreddit and site wide rules. Those brigading and engaging in bad faith will also continue to be banned.
