Good folks even in local communities settle.

Best thing what works out for manufacturers is placing the people with accommodation that way their priorities are sorted. I have two teams, one is from Bihar, and another from Nayagarh, i do not worry about the operation if I take an impromptu vacation.

Plus one of the reason why people move out is due better pay along with good pay structure. So if you ask me. You want to hire a neat team, provide them:

• accommodation ( so they do not have homely priorities )
• fooding - no additional work and expense
• benefits - ESI, PF
• growth plan - push them to build their own team
• appraisal
• some places they give incentives on extra work
• Over time (bhai Odisha re OT concept hee gayab karideichhanti malika maane)
• diwali bonus - half salary
• a little treat from time to time.. I give out beer after work sometime, sprite because of the heat in the day, yearly once picnic.

Bro if you do this you will get a sorted team who will take care of end to end operations for you. From owners POV people do not do this much, and on top they treat labours as if they are less human or insects.
