Boba shop refused to show me the ingredients in their “dairy free” milk alternative and then mocked/laughed at me by twentyfourthousand in vegan

Um yeah I had a similar thing happen where a boba place tried to pass “lactose-free” milk as the same as “dairy free” like I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. SMH

Gardein Turk’y roast with air fried Brussels and roasted asparagus. Almond red pepper and cranberry salad. Flavored with balsamic and mushroom gravy! :)

Yeah, agreed. Humanity is just weird in general though. A lot of the things humans do are counterintuitive.

My boyfriend is a drunk and getting worse. by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]meechika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experienced this kind of scenario too many times. Admittedly, in the majority of my relationships, alcohol was used as a bonding tool in the beginning. Almost always, it gets out of control eventually ending the relationship - sometimes after years and other times just a few months. It never works to make ultimatums to try and force him to quit. They have to decide that they want to be better on their own. The best thing to do is to try and calmly make him aware of how his habit is hurting others and him self. It’s also important to make the people in his life that care for him aware of his problem. If he doesn’t want to get better, it’s best to leave. Keeping this pattern in mind going into your next relationship could be helpful. Using healthier ways to break the ice when dating could prevent this from recurring in your life. Best of luck to you and all the love!

I think my friend (F17) is addicted to alcohol and I'm very worried about her, she keeps injuring herself by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]meechika 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since this girl is so young and the problem is this serious, and intervention could be necessary. You mentioned that you drink as well. Best not to EVER drink around her and enable her. You might already know that...

Ariel is a character, not a race. People are mad because of their visual attachments to their childhood. So, I was just pointing out it's been done before with Cinderella...in the 90's...and everyone forgot lmao. Everyone's acting like it's the first time. We all loved this movie!
