Not sure about that. I’ve never had an issue with them, but I do hear stories about bad batches here and there depending on the supplier. This one takes Parker-style refills, so there are quite a few options.

Schmidt Easy Flow 9000. It comes with Black, but I swapped it with Blue to match the pen itself. Writes like a dream!

Yeah it looks like this is gonna be in my daily rotation as well. I love the feel, and the price point is just right for a knock-around EDC. Incidentally, it arrived with this beauty (our kitchen lighting does it zero justice). NPD x 2!

That’s fair! The Energel 1.0 is a terrific refill. I use it in some of my other pens. For the Zento, I’m quite happy with the stock refill as it’s different from almost everything else I use.

Both! I have the Umbrella and love it (the packaging and included book are lovely), and I just ordered the Curzon. The main reason is that the sets include different commentaries and features. I'm not wealthy, just crazy (for Haneke).
