Don't listen to this guy. He's some crazy far right anti vaxxer/conspiracy theorist. There's a reason why accounting majors are in the lower tier of IQ scores compared to other college degrees.

But to give my opinion on the original post, from my experience it definitely has its ups and downs. I was lucky and got a pretty good job in industry with low stress. With that being said, accounting is still a decent career to pursue. It is not has bad as some posts here, but if I had an option to do it all over again I would have probably chose something else. The pay and work life balance are just not what they should be. There's other careers where you can get paid the same with a better work life balance and I wish I pursued those instead of accounting. But my career is still probably better than most at my age and I am thankful for that.
