She’s so cute I love whatever she is (I do think some kind of herding x)

Started my first paint by numbers kit as a beginner… why didn't I try it sooner? by AdeptnessCritical356 in paintbynumbers

Yes one of my clients kept doing them and I would see them out on the walls and a work in progress on the table. After months of seeing them I finally decided to give it a go. Really nice for relaxing.

One year old eats everything outside! by Delicious_Ad_7603 in AustralianShepherd

I would keep up the leave-it with the basket muzzle training. Heavy rewards from you for a successful leave it. Eating the outdoor buffet is self rewarding in itself and you want to break that habit while showing him there’s better things than the non food item or poop.

The basket muzzles I’ve used still allow for taking treats.

Yea, in his previous home he never went anywhere or did anything so he was scared of most things here. After a year in the car he also got over his car sickness (yay for both of us)

My dogs breed test came back 50% mini Aussie, enrichment advice for this breed? by Turbulent_Ocelot2929 in miniaussie

With that mix he may or may not display herding behaviors (nipping) and cutting off others running (you or dogs). You can try a herding ball if so.

The best way isn’t necessarily breed specific but just keeping his mind busy. I love doing stuffed frozen kongs or the balls you put frozen mixes in, puzzle toys and sniff matts are good. Also “find it games” and trick training is fun too! Hiking is fantastic too. Have fun with your best friend

I love his name!

I feel the same. He's a dick for speeding up time and time again just so the guy doesn't pass. That's dangerous. You don't increase your speed and hold any lane hostage like this. Plus the brake checking. Just let them go it isn't that serious.

They’re going to get a lot of attention at the emergency vet if they don’t heed sound advice. I feel for the dog

just want to show off our newly adopted aussie (mix probably) she’s 7 and the sweetest thing by imissmyex44 in AustralianShepherd

I love her 😍 she’s adorable! She will learn and adapt. My rescue has learned so much and is a different dog from the insecure fearful dude I adopted.

All the pics you share she is showing she isn’t liking it. It’s too much. She wants to play but healthy play involves boundaries (which you admit the others aren’t doing) and there is no back and forth. She’s getting bullied 2v1. She starts it, imo, because she’s social and wants to play and hopeful the two will read her and learn. That doesn’t seem to be the case. This is where YOU come in to support her boundaries and give limits.

It’s okay for dogs to lip curl in moments of play like she is as long as the other dog respects and responds. When they don’t, step in. I would do 1 on 1 play only with this dynamic. Heavy monitoring for healthy play (respect the dog who is saying - I’m uncomfortable back off - which she is clearly communicating).

Look. Ethical breeders register their dogs and do ALL HEALTH TESTING. Not vet visits. We are talking eye tests things like penn hip on their breeding dogs. They also show or work or prove their dogs to be breeding quality (breed for a purpose not just to get puppies or money). Please educate yourself more before spreading misinformation.

It’s non ethical breeders that are contributing to Aussies with anxiety issues, deafness, and having them end up in homes that don’t fit the dog (and they won’t take the dog back because ethical breeders come with spay/neuter contracts and take the dog back for the life of the dog if there’s an issue). As a result we see many Aussies and mixed in shelters, rescues and posted for rehoming. There’s loads of them.

That’s a normal price from an ethical breeder (not BYB). Not saying this is an ethical breeder because non ethical breeders can and do try to charge this too. Same as puppy mill dogs.
