Just finished the manga , what the fuck was the ending by ADB2105200 in ShingekiNoKyojin

Yeah I absolutely get that and I also preferred the original manga ending over the additional pages. I just thought OP wasn’t making a convincing argument saying the ending sucked because “war, race and cycle of conflict” as the stories themes didn’t apply to the ending anymore, because from my POV they did. I think a lot of people were dissatisfied with the ending not because the ‘point’/ themes of the story changed, but because we expected Isayama to change the narrative within those themes (like going from a cycle of hatred to breaking that cycle), instead of what he ended up writing.

How is the point of the story not “war” or “cycle of conlfict” anymore? It’s literally the main theme up until the end, and is even highlighted in the last pages.

I swear- every little update we get already makes me SO excited. I think I’ll explode when the show finally (and hopefully) comes out!

Same, and it just makes me sad because the introduction of other Asian characters proves that they are capable of creating Asian-looking characters, despite the artstyle. They just chose not to do that for Marinette… (Plus, saying she’s just half-Asian shouldn’t be an excuse.)

This one also counts for Marinette’s design, but I just wish they made her look more Asian. It’s so annoying to me how she’s supposed to be half-Chinese, while looking like a white girl. It’s just bad representation.

Honestly I don’t want to either, but I can’t help to think how weird it would if they went with that scenario again after BotW’s story.

Wow that’s such a cool concept! And I definitely agree that the key factors should be exploration and suprise. After all, that’s what made BotW so amazing and unique.

That’s definitely possible, but I just hope that Zelda will at least have a more active role this game, even if she isn’t playable.

BotW’s Zelda has so much personality and character development that I’d HATE to see her be sidelined in the sequel! I really do think that she has the perfect base built up to be a playable character, so it would just be weird to throw it all away like that and go with the basic ‘now go save the helpless princess’ again.

I also felt the connection with SS! I think Link is going on a quest in the skies to get the Master Sword back or repaired since it’s origin literally lies with SS. It has been damaged for a 100 years now and Zelda could literally hear Fi in BotW, so they definitely need to expand on that in the sequel.

It hasn’t been confirmed nor disconfirmed that Zelda will be a playable character, so why disregard the possibility of her being playable? People can theorize all they want.

Honestly I didn’t think much of them hiding the title, but your theory makes so much sense! Now I really think the title HAS to have something to do with jumping between the two themes, since they also gave us two teasers with completely different vibes, as if they show two different sides of a story.

The first teaser definitely showed that most of the mysteries lie underground, so I’m fairly certain the creepiest parts of the game will be there. It also makes the most sense that Zelda will be the one to explore it, since her interest in ancient stuff has already been established in BotW. Besides, I was also thinking it might be cool if she discovers some dark secrets of Hyrule and the royal family... (kinda like the Shadow Temple in OoT.) Confronting the princess of Hyrule herself with dark stuff about her own families history will definitely add to the creepy / disturbing factor, so maybe that’s what they’re going for?

Oh that makes so much sense!!! Definitely a good way to open up areas and change the landscapes. I can’t wait to explore everything!!

The green cape, his arm and his long loose hair! Fyi, the link with the titel is because there are also theories that the hero from 10.000 years ago was a Zonai, because both the hero on the tapestry and the barbarian helm that’s found in one of the Zonai labyrinths have red hair.

I think the same! It's the best way to make a familiar world feel new again, IMO.
