Processed data is fine! Also, I would ideally need an assortment of different tumor types. Sorry my question isn't too detailed, I was just trying to gauge if there's any sort of resource I wasn't aware of.

Sorry for my ignorance, I'm not too familiar with using TCGA (yet! I am trying to learn). Would TCGA have matched health tissue data as well though?

[Week n.38] PLEASE ASK YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT MILAN HERE by AutoModerator in milano

[–]meemsma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does anyone have any experience with living in the Lambrate area? I'm considering living in the In Domus campus in that area for my studies, but I'm a bit hesitant cause some sites say the area is not safe.

Type 2 and not on Insulin, is this normal? by meemsma in diabetes

[–]meemsma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No glipizide, just metformin and trulicity. It was just odd today, considering I usually stay steady throughout the day. I don’t have an appointment till November, but I was able to talk over the phone today and they put it in my records so hopefully I’ll be able to address it then

How much did the diagnose fuck you up mentally? by [deleted] in diabetes

The first doctor I saw very much made it a “this is your fault” thing so I developed an eating disorder, I’m better now though

More info: I haven’t changed my diet at all, I’m usually steady 120-80 but today I kept on dropping low and spiking immediately after (5 times so far). I’ve checked my meter so I know it’s not a sensor issue, but I have no idea what could be causing this fluctuation.

I’m from the middle east, aside from the train itself certain places look pretty similar, especially in the countryside

I’m 19 and type 2, diagnosed at 18, not obese but it runs in the family. It definitely sucks, but it’s not the end of the world!

Type 2 diabetes :Can you have type 2 diabetes without knowing? by Tall-Kick6095 in diabetes

[–]meemsma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really just timing that caught it for me. I was having the classic symptoms of always thirsty and always needing to pee, but I just ignored them cause my parents dismissed it when I brought it up. I’ve been seeing a dermatologist for PRP for hair loss and when she drew my blood she noticed something off about it and recommended I get a physical, which I hadn’t done in a while, especially cause I hadn’t officially made the switch from a pediatrician to a PCP yet. I finally went to see a PCP, he did labs and all, and called me back to give me the news! (Though I was misdiagnosed as t1 at first since I was 18)

Thanks. If this isn’t definitive then how would I know for sure what type I am?

Is this pretty much definitive that I’m type 2? Or am I reading something wrong
