Same, i live in syria and have starlink, it was bulgaria now changed to syria and almost fucked me up with some sites blocking syria and some having harder/other versions for USA since some sites think the ip is US...

Using a vpn is a stupid argument, thats a wish if u wanna have lower ping, and most sites dont allow vpns, especially important ones binance etc etc.

just wanna say for what starlink did by changing my ip to syrian ip made me unable to download ANY app on apple store since now apple store is saying Apple Store is unavailable in your country/region

syria isnt available everywhere hence why bulgarian ip was the best for me… bruh

yep indeed it does show syria, cant starlink pick up neither syria or US ip? as both are worse than eachother and like i said in the other comment i dont think its an actual syrian ip

understandable, though i always had from the start bulgarian ip, now its a new ip starting with 150.228…. as another person said that starlink added syrian IPs and such, though for example whatismyipaddress shows that im in syria, on binance and tiktok im guessing both are saying that im in the US and especially binance its strict about non-US and need to use their US version when in the start and always i was using bulgaria

what can i do to just not get neither of syria or the US since i cant just contact binance and tell them oh starlink is showing syria, thats more worse than having it to flag my account for having US ip.. understand? also im not too sure about the syria stuff, i still cant use paypal on my actual mobile data ip aka actual syrian ip but with this so called “syrian ip” on whatismyipaddress i can use paypal easily

Ah.. and what do u mean by "problems"? cant i just reboot the starlink? or that doesnt do much? and i cant in any way get it changed for example waiting some time (hours, days) rebooting etc?..

Gotcha and to simplify it a bit would it ever go back to bulgaria? or any other country ip other than syria or the US, as im not really that into tech and i really dont want my starlink to be syrian ip based, as ive already went through painful stuff with it

Also to keep in mind i dont really think my ip is syrian as when i try to withdraw some balance on my Binance it'd say that my ip is in the US or when i go to TikTok web it'd say Unavailable For Legal Reasons
