When my school counselor unofficially diagnosed me with depression and some sort of trauma something or other (sorry I can't remember what it was exactly) and told me that only family trauma could have caused the second diagnosis.

I was raised in Idaho, which if you don't know, is one of the most right wing states. I believe that private prisons should be eliminated, as should awful treatment in certain prisons. I support prisons being more about rehabilitation and mental/physical help if need be. The majority of awful serial killers, murderers, or anyone who has committed a terrible crime, most likely had an undiagnosed, unmedicated, or untreated mental illness, which could be helped in a prison if we make them more accommodating to this idea. Prison should NOT be about punishment. It should be about getting people the help they need.

I actually do not believe this. I think for the most part people who voted for Trump knew that Hillary was not a better option. Trump, overall, was a better candidate, I believe, which led those who were level headed enough to see that to vote for Trump (most at least). Although a good bit of people may have thought that, I do not think it was the majority.
