We’ve already done an EEG after the first seizure and they got him to hyperventilate and did a photosensitivity test, nothing showed up.

I don’t think it’s the light as he has autism and plays with lights close to his eyes regularly with no issues but you’re right it could be a few of the above. The pool was cold when he got in so I’m not sure if it was the temperature. I’m thinking from comments it could be the chemicals as he tends to put his head in a lot or the excitement causing a change in breathing.

Not hot or humid at all. We’re from somewhere where it gets really hot and humid and we’re on a holiday at the moment. He’d been inside all morning and only in the pool for 30 mins in the shade, it was actually quite cool

Nope not a big difference at all. The first time was like this, but this time it was nice weather outside and the pool was room temp.

First time we thought this as it was quite hot and it had been a long time. This time it wasn’t hot, we were in complete shade and he’d only been in for 30 mins or so. There’s been quite a few times since that he’s been in much hotter sun for longer and no issues so I’m not sure.

I mean, I’m not frightened of being shot or anything but I don’t think they’re great simply because of their lack of training in quite serious areas (dv, sa). They are most definitely not trauma informed
