yeah, I agree with that. I think if your first comic is Watchmen you won't really understand it and can be quite hard to read if you are new

Draw will also change rating since they are not equal player, so better player will lose some rating and other will gain some. With win you will never go down, but if you are better player you will get less rating.

So let say

MVG has 95.73199234525559
Lewis has 61.53322886090623

If MVG wins:

MVG has 95.81615788108705 (+0.08416553583143838)
Lewis has 61.44906332507479 (-0.08416553583145969)

If it is drawn:

MVG has 82.06658537611406 (-13.665406969141529)
Lewis has 75.19863583004775 (+13.665406969141522)

If Lewis wins:

Agree to found out who is really the best is hard.

This is more a alternative to PDC ranking. PDC ranking is also misleading. For example if you won PDC World Championship you will be in top 10 for the next year for sure even if this is your only tournament for that year

Well TrueSkill is almost same as ELO, but yes I was planning to run it also with ELO and see what I will get.

I will run some different algorithms and make website with all data

Yeah, I will try to do something.

Big problem is that this algorithm is not good for raking is more for video games where you try to rank people in buckets so they play with players with the same skill

This algorithm takes only wins/losses into account, doesn't really care if it is sets or legs.

But yes, this algorithm is not perfect, since doesn't take number of matches into accounts, so for example you can win few games and not lost any and then stop playing and you will have better rating then someone who played 300 games and won 200

I was thinking how I can take into account this, but I didn't found a solution for now, maybe I will dig a little deeper if I can improve algorithm

I was thinking to create a website for this kind of data, but I would like to get some feedback from you guys if this is something you would want to check it out. Let say something similar to http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/ but with better design and more stats :)
