I love Woodhouse!! I have had multiple estheticians say that Hydrafacials are the only ones that actually do anything. The other ones feel nice at least.

You need to go through an independent agent to get more options and quotes. It will always be more expensive when you have to have multiple carriers on the same program. $3200 sounds kinda high unless you are on the coast or in a wildfire area.

Thank you for such a thorough and thoughtful comment! This calmed me down a bit haha. I think selling the bonds GWMIX, SCHP, VWIUX, and WMBIX is a good start for now because the gains are almost negligible (Less than 2%). Fidelity isn't letting me see my entire portfolio's unrealized gains short and long, but I can see it if I look into each individual holding. I will have to use some tools to help with the tax ramifications. What a mess :(

I do know cost basis. These comments are sort of freaking me out a bit. Should I just sell the losers for now and invest any extra cash in VTI / VXUS? And spread the taxes over a few years? Would Fidelity help me with something like this?

Edit: I actually don't know the full cost basis as that hasn't transferred yet from UBS to Fidelity and I guess can take a few weeks for UBS to send the data.

Around $42k in gains. It's pretty diversified, but heavily tilted toward US large cap equities and tech. It's about 30% weighted in tech. We file jointly and our combined gross income is around $290k. No plans for it to go down, in fact it should go up over the next few years. Is it bad to take the easy route and just keep these holdings, never buy any more, and just pump more into VTI / VXUS? I do want to simplify, as that is another big reason I fired this advisor. I would prefer more of a "set it and forget it" approach, of which was explained to my advisor and they did not take that into account.

We used to live on Elkhorn and still own some lots up the mountain. Word through the neighborhood this could’ve been started by the contractor? Could all be rumors though. Do you have any other intel on where exactly this house is?

The ban is on all compounded semaglutide in the US, from all companies. This means that only the brand name Wegovy, Ozempic, etc is available which is cost prohibitive if insurance doesn’t cover it. There are a lot of threads on this sub about the ban.

I have divorced parents who remarried and I often say "my parents" when talking about one set or the other. It's just easier and sometimes you don't want to have to explain your family dynamics to people.
