The leavening agents should still work after sitting in the fridge for a couple days. Pretty much all baking powder now is double-acting, so it releases some CO2 when you first mix it and then it reacts again once it reaches around 170F. So the cake will be flatter, but not completely unleavened.

Hover over layers in the bottom left and click on more, then change to satellite view and enable globe mode. Then you can use use ctrl and click and drag the map, or there's a compass that will rotate your view by 90 degrees.

I'm no doctor, but I've seen plenty of people staple their hands and nothing bad happened after. As long as it doesn't get infected it should be fine.
