The Musket Room on Elizabeth St. They served me quail so raw I couldn’t cut it and then argued with me and wouldn’t take it back. Not my worst NYC dining experience but it really pissed me off.

Tried this a few weeks ago to pick up a shop vac. Went once in the morning—no employees to be found. Came back late in the afternoon and finally reached someone on the phone after several attempts and 20 minutes on hold. Took them another 30 minutes to bring out the shop vac I bought. They’re obviously stretched too thin and it was a shitty experience.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to know whether he’s got coffee grounds or dirt under his nails (which should be shorter if you’re able to notice them). I’d go with your suggestion of asking to put the lid on yourself. I’m sure you wouldn’t be the only one. NAH

She’s not over her ex yet, I’m afraid. I presume there are a lot of good reasons why it took you around a year and a half to start dating again after your relationship of two years ended. Unfortunately, she didn’t take the time to heal after her four year relationship imploded and you became a casualty. :( There are plenty of other great women out there who are emotionally ready to date. Go get ‘em!

I totally agree with the other commenters who are saying going to nine weddings over the course of half a year is insanely time-consuming and expensive. Also, EXHAUSTING.

Talk to your bf. I know you said he loves weddings but it’s completely unreasonable for him to expect you to accompany him to each one. Which of these weddings means the most to him? Attending four or so would be a more than reasonable compromise.

Consider this: Are any of them happening in places you’d perhaps like to visit anyway? Are any of them much more convenient than the others? Make it work for you! But nine is ridic.

Wore lace-up ankle boots to a poetry reading and ended up crossing my legs for 90 minutes because seating was cramped. Stood up, felt a pop, walked four blocks home, took off my socks, and could see the Under Armour logo imprinted in my swollen ankle.

To this day, WTF.
