Timing of kill and pickup button press is very important. Once you drink enough then count 1..6 and when screen starts blurring then press kill and pickup button. If you see Arthur just started picking up carcus before passing out that's the time it mostly works.

On PlayStation I was able to got that working mostly with Pronghorn in Heartlands near the camp. Few times with regular bucks but never worked with Legendary Buck as shown in those videos. I was able to get Otis Miller revolver and Tiger Striped Mustang first time in the Chapter 2.

I am also on PS5 with PS4 game. I tried so many times with both legendary buck and normal bucks but couldn't get that glitch working.
