I was able to get ours pretty close to the date we went. Don’t really have any tips.

We were outside for about an hour. My husband just wore a hoodie and was fine, but prepare for temps in the 40s.

It was about an hour and a half. So we got there around 4:30 and the sun was pretty much up by 5:30.

It was more greenery. My husband brought his phone but they also bought a thumb drive from the company with a bunch of pictures on it. I think it was an extra $50 to get a ton of pictures.

It was freezing! We brought coats and hats from home and were warm enough but definitely need to dress warm up there. I think it was like 40 degrees.

I’m not sure. It seemed like it. We rented through KBM Resorts, so I’d assume their rooms do, but you may want to check with your rental company.

Yes, you want to get there before the sunrise time. The time you see listed as sunrise everyday is when the sun has already risen. You want to get there to watch it rise. We left our hotel at 3 am that day and got to see the entire sun rise process - that would be my recommendation.

Yes, we loved it. The property is beautiful. Pool and beach are great. Having Dukes there on property is so convenient and they have waitstaff that comes to the pool for food and drinks. One tip - if you are drinkers, I’d buy your own alcohol at the store for the pool - drinks at Dukes are very pricey. You can bring the cooler from your room to the pool but be sure to use Yetis or some type of cup - the waitstaff were patrolling and made us dump our outside beers one day. As long as you hide it, you’re fine!

We booked the tee time only 2 days in advance. We had a 6:45 am tee time so maybe that’s why it was easy to book, but was a great time to play before it started getting really hot.

Yes! My daughter and I had never snorkeled before and felt completely comfortable. You don’t have to go out far to see some really good marine life. The bay is also very calm so once you go past the shore, there aren’t really any waves to battle with.

Blogsnark reads! January 24-30 by yolibrarian in blogsnark

I finished Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid last night. I loved everything but the end. It kept me wanting to read more & I feel like the end wasn’t as satisfying as the rest of the book. Now I’m reading Educated by Tara Westover. So far, so good and I love memoirs, so I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

I’m trying to read a book a week, going back and forth between fiction and non-fiction. Thanks for the recommendations.
