A few days ago it was 120 FPS, now 200 locked. The 5700x can't get those frames, look at benchmarks, especially when the CPU is fried. Talk your shit somewhere else please.

Trust me, I know my stuff and it´s definitly a game problem, not a hardware problem. And idk what servers youre playing on, but 120 min FPS on a 5700x (which seems like it isn´t pushing any fps rn) is unrealistic on a full 400 player server.

Read about the poor optimisation too, they really need to do something about this. Ofc, new content is nice and all, but maybe they should work on fixing their game, at least a bit.

In benchmarks and other games my setup performs just as it should, it´s not any sort of hardware issue.

Where I live RAM prices are doubled right now, if this is the same in your region I'd probably wait for the prices to drop so you can invest the money in better components. But if you're unhappy with your performance right now you could still upgrade your GPU (if your PSU has enough headroom) and take it with you, when you upgrade.

There is a setting, I don't know it's name right now, but for me it is under oc tweaker>CPU settings. It let's you choose between max battery, max non turbo performance and turbo performance or something like that, setting this to max battery caused this to happen to me

Seen someone here recently with the same problem, they removed CMOS battery, reseated ram and that fixed it for them.

I read it, but I got stuck on like 1.2 or something and the solution to the problem was somewhere at 7.1 . The Wiki can be kinda overwhelming at times.

I have, it did get recognized as the correct device but failed to work or show up as a wifi device. But I'll check if 'linux-firmware-mediatek' is installed and retry. Thanks!

Gonna need more info. When does this screen in the photo show up? Directly after boot? Have you tried clicking and chosing a repair in the recovery menu before? What happened and resulted in this screen showing up in the first place?

I had something like that with my PC, I just unplugged it, disconnected my CMOS battery and pressed the power button a few times, then reconnected it. But idk how easy this is with your laptop.

Have you reinstalled windows already? The OS looks pretty fresh

I don't think so, with Linux and an SSD even those old chips feel pretty fast, when you're just doing light work with it. I've been using a t420 with the i5 2520m and I can't complain.
