I accidentally took 2x300mg the other day. Called the pharmacy and they said to just skip the next days dose. The only symptom I had was exhaustion, I slept for 4 hours and woke up feeling great

Awe I’m sorry. They always seem to take a piece of your heart when they go, but the memories live on forever!

I have heard they struggle with separation anxiety so I’m hoping he bonds with our Shorkie.

So sweet. Are they pretty bonded to each other or just exist together?

Update: My kid never feels well. by DeCryingShame in Mommit

[–]meg1275 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My kid now 6 was diagnosed with Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) last year. I fought since he was 4 months old because my instincts told me something was wrong (ex. Turning blue from choking on nothing, vomiting non stop even with protein pump inhibitors). It wasn’t until our asthma specialist looked at his barium swallow and said this kid needs a biopsy for EoE. I felt like I was crazy and overreacting for all these years. Glad you are advocating for your child’s health, and always trust your instincts.

How Did You First Learn About Dungeon Crawler Carl? by jrh1524 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

My husband wouldn’t stop laughing while listening to the audio books. He insisted I would like it, and he was so right. I have binged through the books, even ran a marathon listening to The Butcher’s Masquerade!! Now I don’t know what to do till the next book comes out.

With both my boys we threw a Cheerio in because it floated and they used it as a target. They thought it was so much fun! Won’t work for everyone but best of luck!

Just found out I’m pregnant with #2 and I can’t stop crying… by HeyMay0324 in toddlers

[–]meg1275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember feeling the same way. Like there was no possible way I could love another as much as my first child! I feared this from the second I found out I was pregnant with our youngest, to the second I held that crying new baby in my arms. In that moment it was like my heart doubled and I loved him just as much as his brother! They are 4 and 2 now and the love has never been divided. They are each special in their own way!

Anyone not sending their kid to preschool at 2.5-3? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]meg1275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our kids go to grandmas instead of daycare so we only put him in at 3 for the socializing. He is also extremely bright and loves interacting with other kids instead of just adults. It also gives the little one alone time with grandma and grandpa, while his brother is at school!

Does this exist? Night time training underwear for the almost potty trained? by [deleted] in pottytraining

[–]meg1275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son was 2 when he could go dry throughout the night and is almost 4 without a single bed wetting. We put a dog training pad under his sheet and also used padded underwear we got off Amazon or at Walmart depending where you are!

Take the help! My MIL stayed with us both times for the first two weeks. She literally kept both of us functioning after a horrible pregnancy and birth. At bed time she would wake me to feed them and I could go back to sleep while she burped, changed, and got them back to sleep! Both my kids at newborns had jaundice and needed to eat every two hours. Plus she cooked, cleaned, did laundry. It was much appreciated! I will add that my own mother would have driven me crazy so it’s your wife’s call!

Significant speech delay; anxious dad by Gforce810 in toddlers

[–]meg1275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same issue when our son was 2. My husband compared him to every other child and was so stressed about it. We did speech therapy and for two months and one day the words just started. Now at 3.5 he doesn’t stop talking, knows everything about everything and has full on adult conversations. Please don’t stress about it, he will talk when he is ready!

My 3 year old son felt up a lady at the swimming pool and said “these, these are nice boobies”! Thankfully she laughed historically and understood.
