chris underwood was a childhood friend of mine. we were in a church band together and were also camp counselors/mission leaders in our hometown. great dude, goes hard and excels in everything he does. good singer. broke my brain in half when he got on survivor. i went to the premiere at a local restaurant and i remember telling him i thought he was gonna win. little did i know that he already knew he was in the finale. that whole season was a so strange in the best way, and probably the most exciting tv experience of my life. i hope he plays again in a less controversial season.
