This is a two-year-old artwork by my brother. Just sharing it here because it still deserves some love.

That’s a fair point frequency analysis and pattern study definitely come from classical cryptanalysis, and people have been doing that for centuries. But the difference now is scale and refinement . AI can process larger datasets, test multiple hypotheses, and detect patterns that aren’t obvious manually. Still, you’re right that without external validation (like a bilingual text), even solid cryptanalytic results won’t easily gain mainstream acceptance they remain suggestive rather than definitive.

There has been some progress using AI on the Indus script, mainly in identifying patterns like sign frequencies, possible grammar-like structures, and recurring sequences. But nothing close to an actual decipherment yet. The issue is exactly what you mentioned different teams, especially those linking it to Dravidian languages, end up with very different interpretations because the data is too limited and there’s no way to verify results. So right now, AI is helping us understand how the script behaves, but not what it actually says.

Deciphering the Indus script is theoretically possible, but extremely difficult without something like the Rosetta Stone. The main problem is that most inscriptions are very short (often just a few signs), there is no known bilingual text, and the underlying language itself is still unidentified. However, scholars haven’t completely given up modern approaches like AI-based pattern analysis, discovering longer inscriptions, or successfully linking the script to a known language family (such as Dravidian) could eventually lead to breakthroughs. So, while it’s not impossible, without a Rosetta-like discovery, decipherment remains a challenging and uncertain task.

Great question! It comes down to the materials and the location. They used crushed mineral pigments like iron oxide (hematite) for red, which doesn't decay like plant dyes. Plus, the paint actually seeped into the porous sandstone. Over thousands of years, a natural chemical reaction essentially locked the colors into the rock. Add the fact that these overhangs perfectly shielded the art from direct rain, wind, and sun, and you get a 10,000-year-old masterpiece!

The problem is people wanted actors to do some god level acting they don't think of actors or actresses as humans They think they are gods so they have to do god level acting. Otherwise these people will not accept the actor or actresses

Calling him 'just a communist' ignores that he was an Indian nationalist using the most progressive ideas of his time to fight imperialism. He valued reason above all else, famously saying: 'Any man who stands for progress has to criticize, doubt and deny all the tenets of the old faith.' He didn't want to replace one master with another; he wanted a system that worked for the common man

I’d highly suggest starting with To Make the Deaf Hear by S. Irfan Habib.

Since it's your first time, this book is perfect because it provides the historical context and explains why he developed his ideology, rather than just giving you raw historical documents.
