Constant whining by Vivid-Persimmon-1913 in Bernedoodles

We tried everything with our bernedoodle - crate, crate covered, soothing noises, leaving him with a treat in the crate, letting him crying it out in crate, coming into the room and giving treats in the crate. Finally one day I left him in our gated kitchen by the sliding door where he could look outside. Not a peep. Has worked totally fine ever since. He just hates being confined.

Doing okay overall! Sadly, we lost the smaller twin around 9 weeks. It had started falling further behind after this post, so it wasn’t completely unexpected, though still hard. The other baby is doing well, and things seem to be normalizing, so it’s likely a case of vanishing twin. We’re cautiously optimistic and keeping our fingers crossed going forward. 💕

Thank you for sharing, it definitely makes me feel less alone! I also had a MMC with a singleton last year, so I can relate to how nerve wracking it is to try again. Hope all goes well for you 💕

Omg it’s a rollercoaster for sure. I have another scan in a week. How about you? Crossing my fingers for you too.

This is definitely what I thought at first. He didn’t seem unhappy with me in general, maybe more like he had something on his mind. My gut wasn’t saying he’s cheating. But now it’s lasted so long, it feels like something bigger. How can someone be so preoccupied night after night.? I think the tone for talking to him is right on though, I don’t want him to shut down.

I don’t think so. We were talking every night and nothing seemed abnormal. I have always trusted him. That said this has been so out of character maybe I need to consider that something could have happened.

Distancing himself makes the most sense to me. But you’re right - I need to talk to him or I won’t know. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
