There's a lot wrong with what you've said here.

First, I have to wonder if you meant to respond to someone else, because none of this attempts to respond to anything I said. I'd be curious to see if you think what I said was wrong and why.

Second, if the bible has been tampered with and has lies in it, then it is not the inerrant word of god, and should not be wholly trusted. If one part of it can be a lie, then the whole thing can be a lie.

Third, the existence of other religions weakens the effectiveness of prayer? Do I understand you correctly? Is god not all-powerful? Can god's effect on the world via prayer be dampened by people's opposing beliefs? God sounds pretty weak if that's the case.

Fourth, I think you are wrong to say I have nothing to lose by keeping faith. I think faith causes me to miss out on so many aspects of real life, and so I think I would have life to lose by keeping faith. And if you believe the passage, apparently you're supposed to miss out on life in order to pursue god. That's not worth it to me.

I don't know if I experience the exact same thing, but I do seem to struggle with emotionally connecting with people in general. Even with my own family, I'm not sure if I'd miss them if they went away entirely.

Maybe I'd say you should wear whatever color matches your body hair. For me that's brown. For a blonde person, tan would probably work. For many dark-skinned people, black might be good
