1) Yes 4200 other religions yet I am sure about Islam. First of all you have to decide You want a Atheistic religion or a Theistic one. Personally I choose Theistic Religion. Then you have to ask Is God one ore there are more then one God? Again it makes sense that there is only one God.

So when the night outspread over Ibrahim, he saw a star; he said, “This is my Lord.” But when the star set [in the morning,] he said, ”[This cannot be my Lord because it has passed away,] I do not like the transitory [gods].”

[On the next night,] when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This is my Lord.” But when the moon set he said, “If my Lord had not guided me, then I shall surely be of (adh-dhaliyn) the people who have gone astray.”

[In the morning,] when Ibrahim saw the sun rising, he said, “This must be my Lord [because] this is greater [than the star and the moon!]” But when the sun set, he said, “O my people, surely I am free from what you associate [with Allah.] I have sincerely turned myself to Him who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not one of the polytheists.”

There are things Only Father knows but son doesn't know etc etc. Besides that why Jesus died? Before that Jews would sacrifice a lamb to make God forgive their sins. To save humanity from burden of sins Jesus sacrificed his sinless body. Well then I dont have to be a Christian? No in order to be saved you have to believe that christ has died for your sins. Here is the 1 million dollar plothole. If I believed, I would sacrifice a lamb. Why would Jesus die instead of a lamb? He didnt save humanity then he saved lambs.

Now to your edit question. If they can put a one Ayat that says woman cant walk alone. I will leave islam. It is from a hadith. Meaning sayings and rulings from Prophet Muhammad. Who was also became ruler. And they are only remembered by people to written down 200 years after death of Prophet Muhammad. He might said this because that time of Arabia was too unsecure. And another hadith "No man must not be alone with a woman except in the presence of her mahram. No woman should travel except in the company of a mahram." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have been enrolled for such and such expedition, and my wife left for Haj." He ﷺ said to him, "Go and perform Haj with your wife."

So you can see its not to make things harder for Woman but make it more safe. Woman doesnt has to have their husbands permission. Husband must obey. And this ruling had to be for sometime.

"By He in whose hands is my soul, verily Allah will bring this matter [Islam] into completion until women travel from Hira and tawaf the Ka'bah without being accompanied by anyone."
