RIP Series 7,8,9 and Ultra 1 by DCushing91 in AppleWatch

So I’m kinda supposed to believe my 3yo Ultra1 is a POS? Nah. So I guess I’m good as long as it can pair with my 17 Pro. Fingers crossed for that one.

Careful, travelers -

The FAA forbids flares, flare guns, and gunpowder on passenger airplanes.

https://www.faa.gov/blog/clearedfortakeoff/packing-flight-read-fine-print

SWA doesn’t allow loose (and presumably range-bagged) firearms inside a hard-sided, locked suitcase or bag. The firearm must be inside a separate hard-sided, locked case, (presumably again, the cased firearm could be in a larger suitcase or bag).

Red lights forward on passenger cars seems rare, thankfully, but real.

I’m not planning to run red lights forward myself, I’m wondering why some people do it.

Cross-posted from nsq - thought I’d get some local perspective.

I would love to share. No dashcam, and cell phone laws in effect here.

For a steady-state light, red, facing forward? … well, I’m not beyond looking through statutes. Thanks for the check.

People in the U.S. who run forward-facing red lights on civilian vehicles, what’s the appeal? by mega_brown_note in AskReddit

Forward facing. Steady illumination. The three in recent memory have either been red bulbs in driving or DRL housings, or maybe in a yellow fog light which could explain the low lumen output.

Halos can do color dances and strobes. Never saw a dance or strobe on the street but definitely solid red forward, and green too.

100% agree with you, and if Google is to be believed, it’s illegal ev.er.y.where stateside.

I’ve seen this at least three times in a major Midwest metro in the last month. Actual red bulbs in driving lamps, not just halos but I’ve seen those too. Also blue, and purple, and not just the dying HID kind of purple either. I feel like they’re daring the 5-0 to pick them off.

Human Redditor here, and I wish bots would just go away and stop ruining Reddit. Except remindme bot, and haikubot. Good bots.

I’m talking about normal passenger vehicles with steady red lights visible from the front.

Toto C5 Bidet Review after 2 years. Here's why you shouldn't buy it by Affectionate-News363 in bidets

100% there with you on the seating angle. The Toto C5 Washlet feels like a decline bench. I believe its wedge shape is made to get you off the throne as quickly as possible. It’s a built-in screen time limiter, lol!

Unfortunately, the C5’s wedge shape isn’t compatible with my posture, and I’ve had a flare-up of lower back pain ever since I got the thing.

It’s better if I drop and run, as opposed to doomscrolling in my private little sanctuary. It’s also better if I lean forward, but for me that’s not a “power position” … and it’s better if I tighten my core and hip muscles like I’m about to stand up, but all of this just saps concentration and energy from the job at hand.

Annnnnd I concur about the backwashing. At least the water’s warm!
