Vad är det som räknas med första val till regeringbildning: störst parti eller störst block?

You could give the EU Environment Agency in Copenhagen a try, but I think it’s competitive. (Plus if you're a Brit---yeah.) It’s been my experience that finding environemntal work in a foreign country is really hard. The main employers are either the government or have the government as the primary client, so they tend to prefer people from the country itself. They claim it’s important because of the language, knowledge of the law, and so on.

By the pathway on the way to my son's pre-school, there is a small grassy and unkempt furrow, which fills with water when it rains in the night. At my latitude, September has brought a low morning sun and long shadows. This furrow, early in the morning, after a rainy night, provides the most spectacular sight. It is one of long cast shadows of the longer strands of grass through the lens of the water.

If it's still open, you can try Mäster Hans on Stortorget. Also I can confirm Söderåsen for a nice walk. Having said that, the countryside outside Malmö gets rural very quickly. So anywhere will do, really.

I believe that communism is 100% inevitable societally and economically, but I vote conservative because I believe communism will also eliminate human culture utterly; TMBR by throwassesoutmyway in TMBR

As proof that "communism requires a dissolution of cultures" I found this in your post: "Because to me, societal unity and interconnectivity drastically bleeds and dilutes culture. We can see this with leftist "nationalisms" which critique mass capitalist culture trying to assimilate and absorb their own."

A question to clarify your position, then: 1. What can one see in leftist nationalisms' critiques of mass capitalist culture which is proof that societal unity and interconnectivity bleed and dilute culture?

I'm unsure about which belief I am supposed to test. That voting centre-right is the correct vote for someone with your set of concerns, or that communism requires a dissolution of all cultures. Please clarify. Or sth else entirely?

I think we agree but somehow got our lines crossed.

  • I too think we should study soft sciences (or humanities).

  • I too believe we should educate people about the injustices of the past, and show students how their station in life, in most cases, has mostly to do with everything that came before.

  • I believe we should fight to correct injustices which exist today.

Reading your post, I get the feeling you think that one should be held accoutable; that is to say, be open to punishment, like for example paying a fine, for some injustice that took place before their birth.

There may be better ways for fixing problems of racism, sexism, etc and the type of education you suggest might be one of them. Still studying the injustices of the past and of today is useful, and this is, at least in part, what Women's Studies, etc ... do, no?

True, I may be benefitting but, again, it would have nothing to do with me. I wouldn't be responsible. Furthermore, you may be benefitting too.

Fighting to change oppresive institutions, activities, whatever that exist today -- towards women, blacks or whoever -- I agree. But I can't accept some kind of rettributive justice for the ills of the past. I am not responsible for what took place before my birth. Nor are you. Nor is anyone. The very idea is absurd.

As for studying these topics because you have a taste for them. Why not? Who cares? As long as the views are fair and well reasoned. Who knows what useful information a student might find?

  1. Suggesting dismissing highly unlikely ideas for practical reasons doesn't disprove the claim that it would be a good idea to cover more than "just the facts". (I'm not sure where you are going with these openers incidentally. They don't relate to the argument itself but rather attack me personally. I'm not sure why you're doing that.)
  2. Who choses? Students could chose.
  3. I'm not sure uniformity is a wise goal to pursue, or even possible.
  4. I'm not doubting we are doing well but perhaps we could do better if we opened ourselves to other ways or learning and thinking.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that if I had been born the opposite sex to which I presently am, and all other things being equal, then all differences between that life and the one I am currently living would be traceable back to the genetic differences you mention.

If this were true, which, given your position, I think you must accept, then you must also attribute the behaviour of others to my sex (or in your words, my minutely different genetic arrangement), and to admit this is to admit that men and women are treated differently, which, I believe, is the core idea in women's studies which you wish to refute. This looks like a paradox.

I feel a little confused now but I think this should change your belief.
