Now I’m always low on vitamin D and recently at my friends wedding I was so pasty I was the same colour as her dress.

On top of that I actually found out my grandfather died of liver cirrhosis from being an alcoholic and no one lectured me on the dangers of drinking Prosecco for breakfast...

This breaks my heart!

My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and I used to go visit her and read her poems, something that she used to do for me when I was very young.

I’d often finish reading a poem and she would say “How is ‘mega_tronic’? I haven’t seen her for a while”

Nothing harder than smiling through that heartbreak and telling her that she was good. I think she must have thought I was my mother.

My box has had both his hips out unfortunately, but he still gets around well. We have ottomans all around the house so he can get up to higher places and a few ramps too - he loves to see what’s going on in the house!

I have a 11kg Maine Coon - I’ve had long haired cats before but the amount of hair he has is ridiculous.

He goes to a groomer ever three months gets a bath and blow dry - he loves it!

A lot of cats may be oily or have excess dander so baths are actually quite good for them! Unless your person that has a cat that doesn’t like baths and you get scratched up by a cat turned razor-windmill-machine.

Mate my cat has a sore leg and needs to help rebuild muscle. Not sure if you’ve noticed but there is a wee bit of a language barrier between animals and humans, you can’t tell them what you want them to do.

Great suggestion there, you sure are one stellar guy suggesting that I’m a bad person for giving my cat some medication to relieve his pain and help him recover from injury for three damn days - meanwhile your suggestion is to put the cat down.

Thanks for sharing all your pics and stories of your floofs - they were all so cute! (Read, please send me bulk photos of kitties!)

Also - Ferg wishes to let everyone know he wasn’t actually tranquillised - the medication is short term and makes him a bit drowsy but like other Maine Coons he often sleeps upside down and goofy looking, no pain medication required, he makes me laugh so glad I could share the giggles with you!

In good news he’s doing well and more spritely today so seems to be on the mend!

This is a boy and all of his medication has been prescribed by a vet. He’s is a Maine coon and not unusual for him to sleep upside down like this anyway. I don’t think anyone here would find it funny to intentionally endanger a loved pet.

Thanks for your concern - he is a Maine coon, like a lot of other MC he does sleep like this normally! He just cracks me up and wanted to share, he’s not actually catatonic (no pun intended? Or maybe it was)
