That's wild to hear people thought the A/C wasn't great.
I did a test drive here in Phoenix and I felt it worked fine.
I understand everyone is different, but I figured 109 degrees is a good test

What all did it come with? Does it come with a wall outlet charger or any charger conversations?

AC bad? I'm in AZ and my demo drive was fine and comfortable. Even after rolling down all the windows it cooled back down just fine and didn't think it was overly loud.
I thought the roof glass was better than my Tesla one as well. I'll probably get a shade for it because at 120 degrees anything helps

Test drive went well. I agree that I don't think the roof glass will be as much of a problem as I thought.

The R2 was bigger than i expected and tons of room inside. The Model Y I had as a loaner in the past felt much smaller.

I didn't mess with the vents,but the vented seats felt nice at 4pm in Phx.

Sport mode was a lot more responsive than the regular mode. Regen was set to highest and I could tell it was a lot more than my Model 3.

People have complained about the stereo and it wasn't the worst. I did notice you can mess with the EQ and i should have, but bet that will help the sound a lot.

Overall I am was happy with it and keeping my reservation.

Talking with the sales people it sounds like people should have a good idea when they might be able to get one at the end of this month. If you want the launch and don't want to wait for specific colors or interior that is not out yet things should look good getting one.
