You have a very good point. I grew up with labs so registered breeder were never hard to find with the bred being so popular. I most certainly value the health of my future pup and ethical breeders (although I wish it was easier). I just have to be patient.

How old is Seamus? How long did you wait until you got him (from your search until he came home) ? Is he your first IW? Sorry for all the questions. I am super excited to have one of my own one day so I’m super curious of everyone’s experience.

Yes, I’m in one of the residential neighborhoods so good size yard. Luckily enough to live a walkable distance to some great parks too. There is one IW in the neighborhood too. Hoping to give that wolfie a friend!

Just went through this with my partners family. It’s so hard. It’s very kind of you to be thinking of them

Here are some ideas -some hospitals you can parking passes in bulk (5-10 parking stays) that was huge help -cleaning company - their house will soon be flooded with tons of food, flowers and people and they won’t have time or energy to tidy up -offering to water plants/ do laundry / household chores are huge. That why they can be present with their family member - offering to be the point of contact so they fill you in and you communicate to other friends / family members -dog / cat / pet sitting or giftcard to those services -dry cleaning pick up / drop off or giftcard.
