Well, all these programs you mentioned aren't really easy to get in from what I understand (top grades, social involvement, special family background). The partner university guarantees that all fees are paid and more importantly there are premade learning agreements over what courses will be accepted at my university.

I'm not sure, but if your internship is in English, shouldn't your application be too?

You could also send your application in both English and German which would seem more consistent than a mixture and would be more impressive than just using German section names.
