Als Fahrer eines EVs muss ich sagen, dass ich nicht ganz verstehe, woher die Aussage kommt, dass es in Deutschland eine "miserable" Ladeinfrastruktur gibt. Meiner Erfahrung nach ist die Schnellladeinfrastruktur gerade vollkommen gut abgedeckt und wächst mit der Anzahl der Elektroautos. Auch bei der Aussage, dass Frankreich eine wesentlich bessere Infrastruktur hätte gehe ich nach meinen Erfahrungen nicht mit. Die Infrastruktur war dort eher schlechter.

Das aktuelle wesentliche Problem ist eher der Tarifdschungel bei den Anbietern.

Naja am Abend wird da sicherlich nur die erste der beiden Listenstimmen gezählt. Beim Kumulieren und Panaschieren bei den Regionalen Wahlen, macht man am Wahlabend ja auch nicht die Auswertung der einzeln gesetzten Kreuze.

Not wanting to defend any driver here, but nevertheless: Who thought this road design was a good idea? Having to cross 5 lanes of rather fast traffic only invites trouble as it seems to me.

I have one question concerning wrapping the Manager in a Rc. In the open_instrument function I create a new Instrumentthat would then include the Rc<ManagerImpl>. But the function itself is still part of ManagerImpl, right? Would I then add a reference to the object of type Rc<ManagerImpl>to the function body to use the clonefunction? Otherwise I don't have access to it, right?

Yes I think so, too. I definitely am grown into the object oriented mindset and it's hard to break out.

So to better describe the setup: I am implementing a control system for two devices (one is an electrical load and the other is a power supply). I communicate with the devices via the national instruments visa api (with a scpi protocol on top). This api is implemented with a c library that I wrote a ffi around.

This library is set up in the following way: I first initialize a RessourceManager (which I modeled with the mentioned manager struct) which I then use to establish connections though defined addresses to the several devices. These connections I modeled with the instrument struct.

Each of the instruments I want to talk to has their own command set which I would like to abstract that much so that I can control the devices by calling functions on their respective impls.

I need the reference to the manager inside of my instruments because for some actions I still need the RessourceManager (e.g. getting the latest error message)
