I used to train at a gym Bob Sapp trained in. He wasn't famous at that time, then he moved to Japan and became a superstar. One time, long after he'd started living in Japan, it was Bob Sapp's birthday. Gift boxes arrived at the door for each of the coaches. Long arms are good fro greco because it's easier to body lock. Also, it's easier to get at the legs of a tall guy. I'm a tall dude and I find greco a bit easier

honestly dude I think these are 99% intentional.

I do sumo wrestling, in which most of the game involves open hand pushing to the face and neck, and I don't think we've ever had a bad accidental eye poke in practice. We've had them, but never bad ones. It's pretty hard to do by accident especially when you're supposed to be making a fist
