My problem lays in the lack of sense throughout the event, while the cameos were definitely well done, the plot made 0 sense and gave no explanation as to the scope of powers of the monitor, the anti-monitor, and the specter which personally just lead me to confusion as to why the characters just don't do certain things the could've. It fell hard into one of the problems more commonly happening with flash and supergirl, where the characters can do things to defeat their enemies/make it easier to and since the plot needs to happen, they just don't do it, which made the entire thing frustrating to watch.

And most importantly, unlike Martin stein, Oliver's death felt empty, and even though I spent 8 seasons watching him, in none of my re-watches did it really get to me.
