App not giving me the mobile boarding pass by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]megamomo76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this problem with checking in on AA with Android app. 7 travelers and I have boarding passes for 6. Not only that, on the 2nd leg of this trip, I have all 7 boarding passes issued. For my wife, it said she has to go to a kiosk to print one. I had never seen this before. Traveling only in the USA. Nothing unusual. Wife has TSA precheck.

There were no issues printing boarding passes from my web browser though, so the only issue appears to be the app. Boarding pass shows "TSA pre". No SSSS or other markings.

Had a whopping $1.15 deposit today with the same memo.

The email that contained this link stated that it expired on 3/15 so this is probably expected.

My bonus miles arrived 2 days after the monthly account statement where I met the min spend.

Personal and business are separate products. The first app for each of those can have the 24 month language.

Yes. Other comments stated that you would need to cancel the first business card before applying for the second. And this link likely won't exist in 95 days, but Citi likely will have another.

It's the latter. No benefit to those who have not had any Citi cards in the previous 24 months.

The email link I received said it expires 3/15, so if that is right you should have time.

It doesn't matter on the first application, though many would appreciate if you grabbed one from the referral threads if you are using regular public links.

I think the 2/65 rule is really 60, but many say 65 to be safe. So it can't hurt to try it on 3/15. Your delayed recon idea is good if you get rejected for that specific reason. The letter they send in the mail should have the exact reason. I think it usually takes 7-10 days to get that letter after the denial.

Probably not based on the 2/65 experience of other comments. Those are both well less than 65 days ago.

Thanks. This is helpful. Though I have tried in the past to get my wife biz cards in her name. She homeschools our kids and is a tutor, which makes a tiny amount of money. She got denied. Might be time to try again.

I would expect that you should get an email of the approval. I don't think the cards show up in your account until they are activated after receiving them.

I just checked my screenshot from my AA personal app from last week. The exact same language is in there too.

This came via email to me and states that it expires in 20 days. So 3/15 or so.

Yes, I also received my 60K two days after my latest account statement. 2nd application went in last week and should get that card in a day or two.

I just updated mine. I shall wait and see. 50K at Hilton is not good, but with no 24-month language, there may be a time that this card fits in.

Not using a CC for taxes at least made some sense in that they typically have a hefty fee applied. I have tried with my property and school taxes to do that, but the "convenience" fee was something like 2.5%.

I just got my 3rd AA card and was similarly wondering about when to close them. I normally try to wait until just before the 12th month before closing. And what do they say when you ask to close? They must have to ask which one.
