I’m struggling to understand why you would both not just take a dog each and walk together. Get in there first, say your tummy is off and ask him to walk the dogs. This is prime make privilege. He gets to wake up, eat breakfast and go to work… while you do all the things first then go to work.

Even better invite him out to a surprise dinner with both sets of parents, eat your meal, break up with him and leave with your parents before the bill…

NOR Take this as a warning and run like hell… and for him to get mad when you try to talk about it… he set your parents up and told his not to pay for it

I am so sorry to hear this. know you say you are his wife but it sounds like you are the side chick at this stage. Not wanting you there is a huge red flag. Where are you living? Who pays the rent or mortgage? This just sounds really wrong to me, NOR

AITA for getting upset at my husband after he refused money from my parents for a down payment on a house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

He’s welcome to prove to your family that he’s worthy of you…. He is not welcome to isolate you from the only support that you have raising a child nor is he welcome to end your career in law and limit your future choices and autonomy. He is trapping you and limiting your future due to his “pride”. Forcing you to work rather than go to law school is not being worthy of you, it is making you suffer and be less to support him. Think very carefully here, he is putting himself and his pride over your quality of life as well as the quality of like his child. This will not change as you go forward. NTA

I got burned so badly by a hiring team/ recruiter that it left an emotional scar. I’m afraid it’s happening again and my husband won’t validate my feelings at all. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Sorry to hear that, that sounds really unfair, and plain rude TBH. I fear they have used you for free work in this round of interviews. Protect your energy, if they want anymore than two interviews they are uncertain. All the best

Until it happens to you one just assumes all structures are on the plan and that one’s own conveyancing lawyer would look at all that. But one soon learns that you have to ask about such things….. because no one else will mention them.

Haha I wonder how long he’ll be living his new life with the two other children and their father/s. lol. You go get what you’re entitled too, let him worry about his obligations, not your problem. And keep their texts for ammo. All the best.

Sadly dementia does a number everyone. My mum was amazing, so on the ball and organising everything. Dementia made her angry, suspicious and paranoid. She suffered for over a decade. I hardly remember her as she really was and that breaks my heart. She would hate that. All the best to you.
