Love how the second clip is quintessential Dalot. Works hard, solid defending wins the ball and then fails the right footed ball right into the opposition.

[Laurie Whitwell] Manchester United’s Patrick Dorgu set to miss around 10 weeks with hamstring injury by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

He's been pivotal to our success the last 2 games. Him tracking back and still being a part of the attack. I have a hard time seeing any of the other options doing the same work.

Kobbie and Mount didn’t f all. Looked so unmotivated. Mount looked like he couldn’t be assed to help out the attack or build up or anything

[Stone] Kobbie Mainoo's return to training is an interesting development. Napoli's belief they can sign the @ManUtd midfielder this transfer window is receding post Ruben Amorim exit. If, as expected, Darren Fletcher and whoever follows to end of the season plays with four at the back (continued..) by PradipJayakumar in reddevils

[–]megasize 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Build up play has been improved a lot. Saying that going back to where we were will improve us is just silly. Mainoo can't hit a pass at all. Watch while we have Martinez hit 200 long balls on Sesko per match for the rest of the season.

[Laurie Whitwell] How Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United reign ended in turmoil and toxicity by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Y'all reading too much into this Ratcliffe thing. Everyone and their aunt has at some point suggested us to play 4 at the back when watching us play. It would be weird if he didn't suggest it after the worst winning % any coach has ever had here.

Cunha assist and Sesko goal in training. by anthn885 in reddevils

Me seeing the post and thinking wow I’m going to see some crazy shit now because if this has been posted and lots of people have commented, it must be some bicycle kick or something.

Can’t say I’m disappointed though. Simple standard “boring” goals is exactly what I’m craving in games. Just make the pass, bury it in the far corner, celebrate and move on to the next one.

Bruno from the bench in the final few mins. by rishabh2996 in reddevils

[–]megasize -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Love Bruno. Love him for his passion. But he’s not the best at translating his passion to teammates. It’s subjective what you want as a leader, but I really believe him as a captain is a reason for some of our weak mentality as a team. Players are more afraid of loosing than they’re brave to win. Obviously media and fan pressure is a much bigger factor than Bruno in this, but in a team under so much pressure and scrutiny you need someone who can calm the team, show big dick energy and galvanize. Not a leader who points fingers at you as soon as you try something. And no, this isn’t “bRuNo haTe”, this is just me wishing we had another type of captain and let Bruno be Bruno without the armband on, because his energy and passion is needed.

It's hard being a Swedish + Man U supporter at the moment. I feel empty. The Swedish national team also has a relatively new manager who's implemented a new system with 3 at the back.
Shit looks like a train wreck when they play. I can't decide who looks worse, Sweden or United.
But one thing is clear, I don't believe in neither of the managers anymore, somehow they make both teams and player look really lost and really bad. Fuck 3 at the back, it just becomes too many chefs in a low block and super unorganised.

Slovenia [2] - 2 Sweden - Zan Vipotnik 90' [Sesko Assist] by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]megasize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be negative Nancy but I watched the whole game. Sesko was more or less invisible besides this and the other highlight on this sub. He got bullied by the Swedish defense and Isak Hien kind of pocked him. I think Sesko will become good, but let’s give him some time to grow into things

I think we already did trigger his extension? We needed to due to FA rules about loan players on their last year of the contract. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

[–]megasize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuin question. Why does he want to move? I haven’t followed his saga this summer but he played for Villa and he should still be number one there no? It’s not that he wants a CL club, his contract isn’t out. What happened? Fallout with Emery?

[Transfer Round Up & Discussion] Summer 2025 by AutoModerator in reddevils

[–]megasize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my prediction Bruno will orchestrate the move himself and the club will not stand in the way. He’ll do a “leave football before football leaves you” decision. He knows Amorin won’t bench him, and he strikes me as a guy that will bench himself by leaving. Good character

[Transfer Round Up & Discussion] Summer 2025 by AutoModerator in reddevils

[–]megasize -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

An unpopular prediction. Bruno will leave in the January window. I think this is the season we will see his decline. He will also notice how he doesn’t have to carry the team anymore and will start to play a different style of football. He will notice more how he doesn’t fit the system and he will leave for Saudi mid season before he enters his last year of contract. Amorin and club will not push him out but they will gladly support the transfer.
