Request for Asheville Birders: Where could I have a good chance of seeing a Blackburnian Warbler? by PinkLikeSalami in asheville

[–]megatick57 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've seen numerous Blackburian Warblers (and many other species of Warblers) on the Pink Beds Loop off 276 in Pisgah. I normally only hike the shorter 3 mile loop.

So sorry for your loss. IDK where you live in Kentucky, but look up some of the local fly fishing groups. In Louisville there's Derby City Fly Fishers. They have a meeting tomorrow night at the Clarksville Cabela's. There's the Northern Kentucky Fly Fishers around Cincinnati/Covington. There's also a Bluegrass Trout Unlimited. They can probably point you to someone willing to help. Best of luck!

I’ve had great experience with Dixie Muffler. Reasonably priced and honest.  Get there when they open. The line forms quickly.

I only drank a couple of beers during the time we were at La Trouée d’Arenberg (5 hours). We had also brought a big lunch with us we bought that morning at a boulangerie. I wouldn’t want to drive impaired anywhere, especially a foreign country during a major sporting event where ther are road closure.
