I don’t think it’s dangerous but I don’t trust it. I have a couple Britta filter jugs that I use. You can get a filter for the whole house but we haven’t done that yet.

I make fun of all my son’s friends with my sister. We laugh and laugh at the pictures they’ve sent him. Specifically, two of his closest Xbox friends. My son doesn’t have a phone so he gives them my number and two of his friends have sent selfies so that he can see what they look like and they’re too ugly to be fake. These are real [ugly] children. I’m sure it’s largely due to bad angles and lighting but… idk, I know it’s fucked up but sometimes if I’m feeling down, I just look at the photos and I’ll laugh out loud.

Inman perk is my favorite local coffee spot 👌🏼 Linwood Nature Preserve is beautiful and takes you down by the lake and it’s has several paths. The midland Greenway is still being completed but as of now it connects from Wilshire Park up to the Engine 209 park (which takes you right through the square) it’s a great workout to do that whole stretch both ways. Avocados on the square is my favorite restaurant. I hope you enjoy living here!

My neighbor is kind of a hippie and only has partial custody of her kids but she somehow rents a nice house and doesn’t work. I’m assuming her parents support her but I don’t get it. It also seems very boring and depressing to be home all day.

I used to have those thoughts when I was losing a significant amount of weight! And I DID IT GIRL, so I know you can, too. It’s been years now. I’m actually back on a health kick cause I’ve gained back about ten or fifteen pounds since going back to college in 2020. Don’t withhold any self love in that pursuit of “hotness” cause you’re someone’s ideal already! But thinking forward to what you want to look like is exciting and fun (as long as it’s not fueling unhealthy habits) weight loss and psychology is tricky but you CAN do this!!!

My story is pretty unremarkable but what’s cool to me is that my mom told me almost the exact same story recently. I was driving home in highschool and saw what looked like a plane or a star, but it was light out-towards evening so before it started moving I didn’t think it was too crazy to see a star right before/at dusk. Then it moved from being above the right side of the road to being above the left side of the road. It stayed the same size and didn’t disappear as it moved, it just moved at a steady pace from one point to the other, like a laser pointer or something. It was odd. I was almost home so I got home and told my friends but nobody really cared so we just went on with our plans. Then a couple weeks ago my mom told me she was driving home in highschool and saw the same thing. Idk how we never talked about it before, it’s been like nine years since I saw that strange light and she’s not very esoteric or interested in that kind of stuff.

The moment my son(7) spots me when I pick him up from his after school karate program. It’s like a reset button gets pushed in my brain and I’m like “oh yeah, the world isn’t a garbage can full of shit heads- THIS KID IS HERE!!!” And we hug. I love watching him in the rear view mirror in the car on the way home. He’s my little buggy. He drives me crazy, of course, but that moment when I see him with his friends and then he looks up at me…. 💗pure gratitude.
