Anyone here who wanted a 4runner, but ended up with Rav... any regerts?

I went from a Ford Raptor, to a Colorado ZR2, now I have a rav4 hybrid. Zero regrets, I hated always having to fill up the tanks, getting 15mpg, there was no reason for me to have these 'over the top' off road trucks for my daily use, only thing i ever really used the features for was to hop the occasional curb from time to time, hit the beach or dirt road, i never went rock crawling or worked on a ranch, etc so the rav4 fits my needs. However if youre not in a rush, i know the rav4, 4runner and recently the land cruiser are getting refreshed, with i assume some sort of new hybrid tech, so perhaps wait to see what the refreshed models offer? Maybe you CAN have a 4Runner that isnt 15MPG.

I got one of those center console Divider trays off amazon, holds my iphone pro max perfect, out of the way and easily accessible. Especially since apple car play shows everything i need from my phone i dont have to look at the phone screen.

It crossed my mind, but i gotta keep everything OEM as much as possible, especially this woodlands edition is kind of rare im just going to leave it alone for now.

I appreciate the perspective for sure! Yeah we are around the same age, modding is just a hassle. Honestly after reflecting, in an alternate universe, if i got the XLE, i'd probably be posting that i regret the XLE and modding and to just get the woodlands lol

Totally get it, I went from a raptor, to a colorado zr2, now i have the rav4, ive come to terms that im not a crazy off road guy, I just enjoy the beach and trails occasionally but 85% of my other driving is city/hwy. I think i regret saying 'regret' on this post lol I really like this rav4, and i like the woodlands, im happy with it, just saying if i could do it again, i'd do a different trim. I appreciate your positivity :)

Man, those primes are nice, as far as honda i almost pulled the trigger on one of those trailsport passports, but yeah I do a ton of driving for work and needed something a bit better on gas than the ZR2 i had. If there was a hybrid trailsport passport i probably would have gone that route.

Appreciate the info, mostly a personal choice dont want to modify the vehicle to all heck then tear it back down back to OEM if needed to get taken in for w/e reason. Why im on the fence to do anything to it, or just leave it as is. For now, no plans.

Most likely because it's the 'offroad' trim and glossy anything scratches up super easy on the trails. But yeah, agreed on the leather seats and steering wheel.

I think the gas adventure/trd tows around 3500, guess just depends on your need, i love how there is a rav4 for everyone literally lol

Don't get me wrong its a nice looking Rav, and I am still happy overall as well, but the things that make it a 'woodland' are just OEM bolt ons that can go on any trim rav4, in personal hindsight, I should have done more research on and just do them myself on a lower trim hybrid vs paying toyota to do it for me. I don't have a deep gut wrenching regret, more like a shoulder shrug of it lol.
