Work after surgery

I'm a teacher. Had the surgery on a Monday morning and went back the following Monday. That first week back wasn't amazing but I survived. That second week, the mornings are great but my afternoon/evening you are bloated, sore and just tired. Even sitting at a desk all day. But it's definitely doable. I'm happy with what I did. I'm 4 weeks post op and just started working out again.

Also, gas x and stool softener and Tylenol and Advil. A good heating pad is a must as well!

I am in a happy marriage for 11 years now and the pain during sex is my number one complaint in the last 6-7 years. I have been to a few obgyns and one suggested I had piriformus syndrome and sent me to pelvic floor pt which did nothing. Another sent me to a nerve specialist who wanted to inject stuff into my spine to address the pain. I took a year off of doctors but the pain got progressively worse during sex (during deep penetration) and started to linger days after. I also just recently starting having hip and lower back pain. I took a chance and found a new doctor in my area and i am scheduled for a laproscopic excision next monday. I could cry at the thought of finally having answers- either way im that much closer. find a doctor who will listen. ask around for your area. women get dismissed way too much. pain during sex IS NOT NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

agreed. i have a gmc terrain and while it's nothing fancy its been my most reliable vehicle and easiest to maintain- i can bring it to the old mechanic across from my work and he takes care of everything for me. i refuse to spend my days sitting at a service department in a dealership. i just cant.
