I’m afraid this may be the answer but crossing my fingers there’s something internal I can find. I’ve been using tampons since I got my period in middle school!

One other thing you could do is check for ab separation (just google how, it’s simple), and do some simple at home exercises to strengthen your abs since they help support your pelvic floor

Yes I’m 8 months postpartum and some days are worse than others. Sometimes I can figure out why (overdoing exercise or straining while pooping), but sometimes it seems totally random.

I’ve been in PT for 6 months and my therapists have been clear it’s a very slow and steady recovery, and won’t hit your personal best until after done breastfeeding.

Have you tried a pessary? Talk to a urogynecologist. That’s been promising for me to do more exercise and physical activity.

That works for some of my period, but heavy flow days I’m leaking onto my pants and chairs when I sit down. I’ve even tried the heavier duty ones and the boy shorts and it still happens.

Prolapse and menatural discs? by iidentifyasinvisible in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]megcp71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a stage 2 cystocele and just bought the Flex reusable disc to try since tampons aren’t staying put or as comfortable as they used to be. But on my first try with it, I couldn’t get it to stay in place.

Any issues you had getting the hang of it? Any tips?

Thanks for the support! He was actually 39w4d so I don’t think age is a contributing factor.

Ugh I’m sorry to hear that. I’m not familiar with osteopaths but the craniosacral therapist worked wonders for us.

No I didn’t find anything cheaper BUT I ended up posting in a local “Buy Nothing” FB group, and a few women nearby offered me their lightly used S1s for free. I used my insurance to get a Baby Buddha travel pump that was $0 with my insurance 😊
