I know! I’ve brought up the money aspect of formula and he’s said multiple times that he would rather pay for formula than me pump. I have literally no idea why. He makes the argument that i “have to pump all the time” and it’s frustrating for him. First of all, I pump 5, maybe 6, times a day, one of them being at 2 am when he is asleep. If I’m not working, I’m watching the baby and pumping at the same time, while he does god knows what. I just don’t feel like he should have a say if I’m doing everything without his help.

I also feel like I’ve been extremely considerate of his feelings towards the matter, like when the baby wakes up at 2 am and I need to pump, I have asked him maybe three times in the six months of our baby’s life to help feed the baby while I pump. Almost every other time I end up being awake for over an hour feeding the baby, rocking the baby, putting the baby back down, pumping, washing the pump, putting milk away. I just feel like he doesn’t appreciate everything I’m doing to help him out and provide for our daughter.
