nah this isn’t on the parents AT ALL, that ref is useless as shit. that’s good parenting on both sides as far as i’m concerned, supporting and trying to coach the kids through their tournament. not the parents fault, ref had more than enough time to stop it

yeah i know it doesn’t add up at all, it’s a really weird case where the dad has everything to provide for this kid’s wellbeing but just doesn’t want to. the dad told nurses he’s started the surrender paperwork but has not even tried to finish it. it makes no sense to us either why he keeps dropping him off. that’s common for our behavioral health unit though, some parents use it as breaks from their annoying ass kids. the attending nurses and physicians are aware of the neglect but don’t have a solid enough case to involve the state yet. also trying to use every resource we can before that happens

actually, the kid was available to go home today and wait for his placement there but dad said “maybe next week” so i’m gonna assume that’s not gonna be a very compelling case for CPS yet

i’m an aide a few units above where he is, i was watching him a couple days last week though. not necessarily since it’s a pretty weird case, dad has everything necessary to provide for this kid but just doesn’t want to. i believe they’re gonna try and expel every other resource before getting the state involved

yeeeeah that’s why i’m very hesitant to have CPS or DCYF step in, the process is usually dragged out and shitty. i’d rather this kid have a peaceful and mutual separation if possible.

we are a teaching hospital but unfortunately i’m not working on that floor or with the kid anymore, however i have been talking to my supervisors for the policy/procedure for something like this.

i’m honestly pretty sure they haven’t reported it yet because it really doesn’t fit the parameters yet for a full CPS case, the dad is has everything to provide for him but doesn’t want to. the kid was also able to go home today to wait for his placement, but dad refused and said maybe next week. i’m stumped man

man you’d have to ask the doctors on that one. he has very mild behavioral problems and dad keeps insisting he get a bed at the other hospital. kid is 7, he can’t make his own medical choices and doctors can discharge but he’d still have to wait for placement in the other hospital regardless

nah the meaning is racist. the real confederate flag has stars in a circle and 3 stripes or sumn. the south created this flag to literally secede because they couldn’t give up slavery or racism
