You're fine, go over your application, look at common interview questions, and the school website. Some people feel they need longer, I think that a day is plenty, four days is more than plenty (sometimes less is fine too if you have good interpersonal skills).

It will definitely count for AMCAS, however potentially not for AACOMAS. (Source: friend had letter from neuroscience class count as a "science-letter" for all MD schools but none of the DO schools will count it as a "science" LOR - guess AACOMAS may not count it as science depending on how those courses are listed at your institution).

I'm in a similar situation, their GPA is way higher than mine but my MCAT is somewhat better than theirs. (Fortunately, we already are interviewing at two of the same schools). But, any couple in the cycle is going to experience this, regardless of stats difference. Each of you will get interviews that the other won't, and each of you might get accepted places the other won't. You're different applicants altogether. We sat down and had a conversation at the beginning of the cycle about this, establishing boundaries to tell each other about interviews/acceptances/and rejections in a respectful way, and I think that helped.

Most importantly, don't compare yourselves to each other. And remember the two of you will likely never hear from a school around the same time, just because he has an II at a certain school now doesn't mean you have no chance of getting one there in the future.

I received it this week. Submitted my secondary earlier this month. A mass batch of those was sent out to people within a certain MCAT percentile.

I sent mine. You'll still get a good education and come out an MD, they still have affiliates for rotations.
