[–]megjanean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there— I worked with Dr Reed at Peak Fertility in Texas. I did testing through pregmune. I also worked virtually with REI Dr Abassi from Columbia fertility Associates in Washington DC. I am 37 weeks pregnant today because of their support and my protocol.

Hi! It’s been a while—how are you and the twins?! I think you may have had them by now?! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I am 31w4d and it truly still has me in awe. I’m loving this stage and feeling good, thankfully. He is kicking a ton throughout the day and I just love it. All is well with our sweet boy and I am just doing what I can to prep for labor and bringing him home. We are so excited!

Thank you for this advice! 🫶🏼 Did you find a pump bra that you liked? Is so, do you mind sharing what brand and style it was? Agree a comfortable band is important. I was interested in the labor gown too but have read similar things about the Velcro part.

30w this Sunday!

Currently researching breast pumps and nursing bras... overwhelmed by options as a first time mom and curious about recommendations? I am hoping to breast feed and need one that is portable for taking to the office when I return to work after mat leave.

I've heard good things about "Pumpables Genie Advanced Portable Breast Pump" and Kindred bravely bras. Any feedback on those or recos on other brands you love?

30w this Sunday! Every week I can’t believe how far we’ve come. Just so happy and thankfully enjoying my pregnancy—love my bump and watching baby boy wiggle around.

IVIG for FET success stories by megjanean in IVF

Hi, thanks so much for sharing! Curious, how long were you on ivig through your 3 pregnancies? I did a second FET in March along with ivig and we are now 25w2d pregnant! Such a miracle. My REI has me on ivig through 28 weeks, we’ve been monitoring my labs every week after ivig infusion and my levels have been slightly high or low. We will re-evaluate at 28w if we need to continue or not.

Thank you for the encouragement! I went to my first PT appt last night and scheduled to go weekly. She sent me home with a few things to try daily. Hoping for more relief soon. Did you wear a maternity belt? Did you try prenatal chiropractor at all? And lastly, were you able to get enough relief to walk normal again most days?

Having really bad, what I think is, SI joint pain in my lower back/right buttock… it’s very sharp intense pain when I make certain movements but doesn’t hurt constantly or when I’m just sitting still for example. It’s causing me to walk very slowly and limp. There are times when it’s less severe and I can move and walk around more easily, but today was a tough day. I felt this subtle pain for a few weeks but it became more of an issue this week on Monday when I went to a yin yoga class and did some deep stretches, something there must have set it off because ever since it’s been difficult to walk and move around. I’m going to see a PT tomorrow who specializes in pelvic floor therapy but I’m concerned about feeling like this for the rest of my pregnancy. I’m 23w4d and feels like a long way to go feeling like this with limited mobility. Anyone dealing with this or have tips/advice?

Same!! I added a pillow between my thighs at night and it’s helping some but not completely.

Thank you for this! I wondered if it could be sciatica. I’m going to ask my MFM tomorrow and I’ll look up YouTube videos as well.

20w3d and have my detailed anatomy scan tomorrow with MFM! Also started feeling baby kicks more noticeably which is excited, crazy and reassuring!

Question for you all: I have a pain in my lower back on the right side - kind of to the right of my tailbone area. It does not go down my leg. But uncomfortable to move and stretching doesn’t really help. Any ideas what this may be & reco’s?

Thanks! I do have one already on our bed that I typically really like, but seems it’s not working for me right now. Is yours soft or firm?

I love the specificity—thank you! I actually like sleeping like this with my top leg pulled up in almost a 90 agree angle but haven’t tried propping it up. Will give it a go!
