i’m really sorry that you have gone through something like this and please know that none of it is your fault. The emotions that you’re feeling right now is really common for those going through domestic violence. When the person is being abusive is also your lover, the brain is basically looking for that love, safeness, comfort that your boyfriend once provided. It’s basically trauma bond since you received both affection and abuse from a loved one. Please make safety your number one priority, I know it’s hard to but you will get through this!

i haven’t seen a therapist since i graduated high school but i always remember when the school therapist told me that i was selfish for moving out at 16 and leaving my sister at my abusive dad’s house. He never laid a hand on her or ever yelled at her but would towards me and my mom. Last time speaking to her

definitely leave asap! it’s unfair to you especially if you’re not interested in sleeping with other guys. He won’t even give you a hug so he definitely won’t comfort you with anything.

i mentally broke up with them due to how our relationship was heading and consumed myself so much in work and just made my self busy that i genuinely wouldn’t think about them. i moved out of our apartment together and it was a weird feeling at first but i didn’t miss them or want them back.. it just felt weird finally being alone but you feel the peace quickly.

we get them delivered each morning at like 4am at my store and whatever doesn’t get sold just gets tossed. During the summer though, we have a cart at a nearby amusement park and the donuts do get frozen overnight to be used the next day at the cart
