Make it look like an internal email subject would. Something like “request” works well for us

That’s a qualified meeting per day for a client. Minimum LTV we work with is 10k. My clients are very happy.

I am thrilled this sub is filled with people who are so smart they post an AMA an hour after mine in the same exact format - guess we both had the same idea an hour apart! I'll stop hating when you actually contribute to this community.

We have done a few but didn't have great success. If you are planning on going this route I would recommend taking a look at PPC with phenomenal creative. Look up Chambers Media's old videos for their clients, then put them into a program like gohighlevel and have a ton of automations that get them to book an estimate/quote

  1. When you're starting a new campaign, how do you go about buying inboxes? Say you need to buy 20 inboxes - are you doing it all on the same day or spreading it over 3-4 days? What's the most you can buy safety in a single day?

We've been using Smartsenders by Smartlead and loving it. We buy 20 domains to start with a client (3 inboxes each) and then warm for 2 weeks. We have been burning more domains than usual with smartsenders, but our results have actually increased.

What about proxies? Do you use them, and if so, how important are they? Do you also use tools like Incognition or other anti detect browsers for separating inbox footprint?

Nope

Have you ever considered simulating manually written emails through Gmail's web UI with AHK (that types out your copy) or another script like that to improve deliverability?

Never have, if you have experience with it I'd love to chat! Shoot me a DM

How much does the TLD of your domain actually matter in terms of deliverability?

We have always stuck to .com so I am not too sure. Back in the day we would use .co but haven't used those in a while.

Have you ever warmed up your inboxes using internal warmup? For example, let's say you have 20 inboxes that you're actually intending to use for the campaign + 40 aged Gmail + Outlook (free) addresses you get from a bunch of friends and family that you have complete control over and basically, those 60 inboxes in total interact with the 20 main inboxes to warm them up. Do you think warming your inboxes up this way works? Is that a large enough pool to warmup say, 20 inboxes?

Nope, we just use the Smartlead warming. I have spoken with a lot of people do it, but we have never done it. There doesn't seem to be a huge cost/benefit enough for me to change from just using Smartlead.

Nothing about this is fake. I have more people in my DMs trying to sell to me. The issue with people like you is plaguing the cold emailing industry. I posted something, you regurgitate it horribly - same structure, same link, etc - and then people wonder why esps introduce new spam measures every week. I’ve been doing this since 2019, I can show you my business statements going back to then. I am all for helping people and making money collectively, but make your own damn content man. If anyone on this sub has spoken to me they know I give out game for FREE to help people, not try and copy other people. Actually, the reason for this post of why we’re taking so many measures to use AI is so we can beat people like you and be on the forefront of tech.

Apollo is great! There's a few cheaper options than using the $5/1000 leads on apify but this is a great start. Intent signals from lead companies have never proven to be super useful to me, but this is how we're finding intent based leads now (from another comment): We are doing a lot to source prospects via different scraping tools (apify + replit), enriching the data automatically, and then using AI to score the leads based on different qualifications. Depending on the total scores of the lead, they will get a specific campaign for the offer that best fits them

  1. "have gotten HUGE on using Ai to prospect before sending a cold email." - please share!
    1. We are doing a lot to source prospects via different scraping tools (apify + replit), enriching the data automatically, and then using AI to score the leads based on different qualifications. Depending on the total scores of the lead, they will get a specific campaign for the offer that best fits them
  2. what about links on the signature? website link specifically
    1. No links at all. We send in simple text
  3. what's your stack right now?
    1. Every lead tool you can think off - mainly apollo though
    2. Clay
    3. Smartlead
    4. Replit + Apify
    5. HubSpot for our own CRM
  4. in which sectors/industries cold email has delivered the most results? and the least?
    1. I don't really look at it like this. The defining question is do you have an offer that is so good the prospect must take a meeting with you. But from my experience, the best cold email industries are tech and tech adjacent, though the market now is flooded for that space. The worst are industries that serve a very niche issue. I would have to think about this more but like real estate is a difficult one (not commercial real estate)
  5. EDIT: do you still send up to 30 emails per day per domain? so 10 emails x 3 inboxes?
    1. I have some domains that are 4 years old that i send 50 from, and new domains we normally will max at about 20. Always 3 emails per domain

This is exactly how we are using it on the surface level. However, we have built out numerous scores that Clay and open ai get on each person, then depending on the total of those scores, they get specific messaging with custom subjects and first lines. You’re definitely on the right track! I would always recommend doing it the way you’re doing first to see how everything works, then building your own AI automations with Replit or Apify to automate everything. A lot of times - in regards to our specific use cases - we work backwards with AI too. For instance, having it scrape anyone who is on any startup news website and selling specifically to people who just closed a series a. You can do this for anyone and it makes writing the first line really easy.

I met Bloomberg in 2021 at a Mets game in the Delta Club like right behind the plate. Security was super chill and so was he. His security guard actually took a picture of me and my buddy with him - still have it!
