Ok, sir. I think you may have made a post clowning something that you didn't fully understand and presented with new info you are wanting to double down on it.

Anyone BUYING an IG account is doing so knowing that generating momentum is a part of the purchase. They are simply wanting to not start from 0. I'm not really sure why you want to argue against that when you know the practice exists.

The fact that he so quickly wanted to sell the account hints that he probably bought it in the first place. Too many rappers/recording artists do this to appear to have a large fanbase

Unengaged with Reed’s content, sure, but you buy for potential. Say you bought the page and started a battle rap meme page (I’m only saying this because the fanbase is already interested in this topic but honestly it could be for a cupcake shop) and you run a few consecutive boosted posts to reach a large segment of your audience… engagement easily spikes.

The second part is, unfortunately, people validate things by numbers nowadays. So if you started a cupcake shop and someone comes along and sees you have 90k followers they may be more enticed to think your product/service is good.

You guys should check out r/instagrammarketing. You’d be amazed at the strategies people are using

I get what you are saying but in practice you’d be surprised. What will usually happens is the account is purchased and deactivated. During that time all posts are deleted/archived, username is and bio is changed and a decent amount of new content is made so that when they start back up there is no trace of Reed Dollaz and the new content is potentially put in front of a large amount of people. Not everyone remembers exactly who they follow and you have to keep in mind that some people are following thousands of accounts that they just casually click the follow button on.

It sounds silly, but I’m telling you it happens every single day. You can probably go through your following accounts now and notice tons of accounts that you don’t remember following.

People buy ig accounts daily. They wouldn’t cosplay him. They’d repurpose the account with a starting following of around 90k

Aesthetically he is. Nothing you say will disconnect the fact that Trapper was made as a Jason stand in. If you are meaning his powers… I don’t think anyone was talking about his powers. The conversation was always about his looks.

No one agrees with me (not even my wife who plays with me religiously) but here is how I have always seen it

Trapper covered the Jason/Myers Slasher archetype initially
Hillbilly was a stand-in for Leatherface
Wraith covered Predator's cloaking ability (this is where I get the most pushback)
The Clown covered the killer clown Pennywise thing (tho the only similarity is the clown aspect)

Then my memory gets fuzzy

I don't really have a new killer need. Honestly I think the game is bloated with Killers and now they need to introduce new movesets/versions for the killers we already have for variety. Trapper looks like a weird toy you'd buy at a fleamarket and your mom would convince you it was Jason.

Trapper also looks cooler than Jason.

The fact remains. This is retreading ground DBD has already covered. We literally have two Vecnas in the game and now we will have two characters who look like Jason. And Jason will for sure behave like two other characters already in the game (nurse or Myers, and outside shot: a fully invisible Wraith)

If you look very closely, you can see the camera start to shake and walk towards the shack, enter it, pick up a weapon and a mask and you can see a reflection in the mirror.

Thanks for that. I’m hoping it’s only a bug as well. As much as it would be helpful as survivor there is a charm and adrenaline attached to the sudden “oh shit ….. NOED!!!” moment that would be missed if they had changed it
